HOSTAGES

This map was inspired by the events that took place in Montreal in November 2020. A downtown office was taken hostage. After a short time, the police freed the hostages, and I had the idea to create a small level where the player as a SWAT officer frees the hostages. Not everything could be implemented, some mechanics had to be removed because they did not work well, but on the whole, the level design turned out and some of the mechanics that I made for this level work fine.

PRISON WAREHOUSE

This little level was inspired by the A Plague Tale series. After completing A Plague Tale: Requiem, I decided to create a level with a small plot in which one of the Knights Templar, who was captured at the end of the last Crusade, tries to get out of captivity. He escapes from his cell and finds himself in the courtyard of an ancient castle, which has been converted into a prison warehouse. This is where he escapes from.

FOREST RUINS

This map was created in Unreal Engine 5 to try out the engine and explore the changes that made Ubreal Engine 4 different from Unreal Engine 5.

SPACE RESEARCH STATION

Having received information that a group of bandits had kidnapped a high-ranking official of the planet Iskalon and was holding him hostage on the planet Wayland, you, as one of the mercenaries, seeing a great fee for bringing the official back alive, immediately went to Wayland.

LIGHTHOUSE

A map created in Unreal Engine 4 for the purpose of practicing my Unreal Engine skills during a time when I couldn't get a job. I created an independent project that includes level creation from scetch, whiteboxing and scripting. Later, after the release of a new version of the engine, the level was adapted to Unreal Engone 5.

INCURSION

 The idea for this level came after watching the movie "Army of the Dead" by Zack Snyder.After contracting to break into a safe at a Las Vegas casino, Scott's team had plenty of time and rumors that there was still money in one of the banks. It just wasn't removed in time because the bank's employees, including the security guards, had turned into zombies. After a brief deliberation, Scott decides that it would be a good idea to get a nice bonus to the main assignment. The map is not yet complete, a video showing the creation process will be added later. For now, I added a gallery of screenshots.
